Complex Berlin

Berlin is different from any other European city I have visited. It’s not the type of city where you step off the train and immediately feel its vibe and soul. Instead, it’s a city full of layers, layers created by its diverse and multi-faceted history. It’s a city that’s constantly reinventing itself, especially in the last 50 years. Its buildings are mixed together like a multi-generational family reunion, from the grand Reichstag of the Prussian era to the 1969 TV Tower in the former East Berlin. Its history is fascinating and relevant. Having only 2 full days in the city, we were barely able to scratch the surface. Wish we had more time. We will definitely be back.
